Some recent work:
My Choice Matters, the NSW Consumer Development Fund, has been funded to build the capacity of people with disability and their families to get ready for the changes ahead with the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Between May 2013 and September 2014, futures Upfront developed and delivered over 60 workshops to around 1600 people across NSW. The workshops were based on materials developed by us and included topics such as:

“ The skills and knowledge with which futures Upfront develop materials and
run workshops for the broadest range people and settings is outstanding”
(Jess Watkins, Project Manager)
The following video shows Barbel from futures upfront presenting to Richmond PRA staff about the key elements of choice and control people with disability will be able to exercise under the NDIS.
The Ella Centre contracted futures Upfront to assist the organisation to get better at marketing their services. Of course, like many organisations the marketing budget was almost zero. Together we developed a range of strategies that were then workshopped and developed further with all staff and management.
“Barbel provided 2 exceptional workshops here at The Ella Centre. She provided relevant information
which was delivered in a very engaging way. She has a good knowledge of the sector and
the barriers facing organisations such as ours.”
(Will Russell, Change Implementation Manager)
